FeNi42 is a series of constant expansion alloys that can be matched with soft glass and ceramics with different expansion coefficients in a given temperature range by adjusting the nickel content. Its expansion coefficient and Curie point increase with the increase of nickel content. . The composite gold is a sealing structure material widely used in the electric vacuum industry.(Similar grades: 42H Glass Sealing 42, Nilo42, N42, FeNi42) Thermal processing performance The alloy is easy to perform cold and hot processing. The heat processing temperature should not be too high, the heating time should not be too long, and heating in a sulfur-containing atmosphere should be avoided. When the strip cold strain rate is greater than 75%, it will cause plastic anisotropy after annealing. The cold strain rate is between 10% and 15%. When heated to 950～1050℃ (unavoidable in the brazing process), the crystal grains will grow up significantly, which will reduce the plasticity of the alloy. For thin sections, the vacuum air tightness of the metal may be lost. . Therefore, the final strain rate of the finished product should be controlled at about 60%. Welding performance The alloy has good welding properties and can be brazed and spot welded. The alloy should be pre-oxidized before sealing with soft glass and other materials.
