PRODUCTS DETAILS

4J36 (similar grades: Invar, FeNi36, Invar Standard, Vacodil36) alloy, also known as Invar (INVAR) alloy, the Curie point of the alloy is about 230 ℃, below this temperature the alloy is ferromagnetic, with very low The expansion coefficient is higher than this temperature, the alloy is non-magnetic, and the expansion coefficient increases. Alloy control of carbon and manganese composition is very important. 4J36 has corrosion resistance in dry air at room temperature, while corrosion (rust) may occur in other harsh environments, such as humid air. The alloy is mainly used to manufacture components with approximately constant dimensions within the range of temperature changes, and is widely used in the radio industry, precision instruments, meters and other industries. The alloy heat treatment can be divided into: stress relief annealing, intermediate annealing and stabilization treatment. (1) Stress relief annealing, the purpose is to eliminate the residual stress of the parts after machining, the temperature is 530~550℃, the heat preservation is 1~2h, and the furnace is cooled. (2) Intermediate annealing, the purpose is to eliminate the work hardening phenomenon caused by the cold rolling, cold drawing, and cold stamping of the alloy, so that the subsequent processing can be continued. Specifically, the workpiece is heated to 830-880°C, kept for 30 minutes, furnace-cooled or air-cooled. (3) The purpose of stabilization is to obtain a lower expansion coefficient while maintaining stable performance. 4J36 can be welded by all welding processes, and can be welded by oxyacetylene welding, arc welding, electric welding and hydrogen atom welding, and does not require pre- and post-weld heat treatment. Before welding, the material must be in an annealed state, clean, free of oil, scratches, marking paint, etc., low heat input must be used, and the interlayer temperature should be less than 120°C. Since the expansion coefficient of the alloy is related to the chemical composition, in order to avoid changes in the alloy composition caused by welding, it is best to use argon arc welding. The filler metal for welding should preferably contain 0.5% to 1.5% of titanium to reduce welding pores and cracks.  chemical composition %

Product heat treatment process
Stress relief annealing Heat to 530~550℃, keep warm for 1~2 h. Cool in the furnace.
Annealing The workpiece is heated to 830~880℃, and kept for 30 minutes. Furnace cooling.
Stabilization
  1. Heat to 830 ℃ in protective atmosphere, keep for 20min. ~ 1h, quench.
  2. Temper

  1. The alloy cannot be hardened by heat treatment.
  2. Surface treatment can be sandblasted, polished and pickled.
